Worshipful Master - L. V. West

 

Worshipful Master L.V. West was born and raised in eastern North Carolina.  After completing law school there, he moved west and served as a law clerk to two federal judges.  During his clerkship for the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, L.V. began his Masonic Career in Cheyenne Lodge No. 1, located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in 2007.  After moving to Santa Fe, he joined Cerrillos Lodge No. 19 and Montezuma Lodge No. 1.


L.V. is a past Grand Officer of the Grand Lodge of New Mexico, having previously served as the District Deputy Grand Lecturer for the Second Masonic District.  Prior to that time, he served for two years on the Jurisprudence Committee of the Grand Lodge. 

L.V. works as an attorney in private practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His community service efforts include volunteering with the Interfaith Community Shelter in Santa Fe as well as sitting on the Board of the Breast Cancer Resource Center in Albuquerque.  When not practicing law or volunteering, L.V. enjoys playing music and fishing.
